Dating + Community Volunteering

Meet 30s & 40s singles while making a positive impact in your community.

“We have chemistry”…that special something that exists between people. It’s hard to quantify and filter for in the dating apps, but when you experience it you feel it on a deep level. We believe that shared feel-good experiences are natural catalysts for chemistry and we aim to organize events that ignite those sparks.

  • Our goal is to provide fun, gender-balanced events for singles in their 30s and 40s while giving back to the community.

Volunteering - Our volunteering events are designed to foster meaningful connections through fun teamwork activities that revolve around volunteering and community service. In a casual setting, you'll have ample time to engage with others and truly get to know them.

Social Mixers - Our social mixers are Happy Hours that raise funds for charitable causes near and dear to our hearts

For privacy protection, we do not facilitate the exchange of contact information between interested parties. If you feel chemistry with someone at an event, we encourage you to be brave and exchange contact information directly.

We plan to host a variety of events, each with its own format, but all with some commonalities.

    • Even gender balances

    • Age brackets

    • Plenty of socialization time

    • Support for a charitable organization

  • We provide casual, affordable, low-pressure opportunities to meet single people in their 30s and 40s IRL. Maybe you’re tired of the bar scene and the dating apps. Maybe you’ve considered the membership-based “active singles” programs out there but they’re just too expensive. Or maybe their extreme sports-like activities don’t appeal to you. Maybe you just don’t have the time or scheduling flexibility to commit to long-duration events far in advance. We understand. That’s why we started Organic Chemistry Dating. We want you to walk away from each event feeling good about the people you met and the contribution you made to your community.

Even if you don’t make a romantic connection at your first event you’ll feel great about giving back to the community. It’s also a great way to make single friends!

  • Arrive on time and plan to hang out after to maximize socialization time. We do ice breaker games at the beginning so everyone is already friendly and at ease when we start volunteering. Afterwards people often go out for lunch or coffee together. If you leave early you might miss out on some of the best socialization time because people are most warmed up and feeling chatty after spending a couple hours together.

Come to multiple events and you’ll start to see familiar faces and make new friends more easily. We have a strong group of repeat volunteers and it’s quickly becoming a fun little community.
